here's 2 pics of the PS rear floorpan I made up Sat morning. Now hopefully I get things buttoned up today to be able to drive it tommorow. I got to cutting out the old stuff and realized that the way they had assembled it from the factory was going to require repairing around the front of the rear inner fender first. Now I have a lot to get done today.

Ended up making out pretty well yesterday. I had cut out the standing brace for the bottom of the back seat, which helped to open up the area in front of the rear wheel well.
I do still have to patch that area and replace the brace, but I got the floor pan in that is pictured and I ended up making another panel that joined the new floor to the existing that was 5" wide. That way I was able to better reinforce the front spring mount.
The floor acctually has a slight bump out for that spring eye. I then had made and added a couple of little braces and layers to locate that perch better than the factory had. If it weren't for that rear seat brace in the factory design, I don't think that perch would be able to handle to much abuse.
I'll get some more pics as I get working on it again. looks like I am going to have to replace everything back to the inner side of the sub-frame tho.

I made up a panel to fill the hole between the front of the wheel well and where I left off with the replacement, which ended at the back side of the spring perch. drilling holes for spot welds and finish fitting will have that done pretty quickly when I get back to it. Then I just have to reinstall the lower seat brace for the back seat. I may configure that a little differently.......thinking about doing two bucket seats back there, instead of the bench. They'll work better keeping the girls in place on those future wheeling trips. I have to get a Argon/Co2 refill too, very shortly probably as I'm just about to finsh the next step

I've seen the rear bucket mods. Very cool! I've seen 5pt kids seats too. How much is welding gas by you? Price jumped out here for Ar/CO2. Its up a hair under $60/bottle! But I would assume you run a fullsize bottle as opposed to my 20lb tank, correct?

I don't remember, but I believe it's about $60 for 120 cu ft. last fill I got oxy, act, and arg/co2 for $120. I have one of the small bottles for straight argon, but I haven't filled that in a long time.
Thanks Andy....I'll get a couple more pics up soon.

I finally fired this thing up after all winter. I really have to get the work done to this thing too. Fired right up. I miss running this around. It's better on gas and just fun to run around.
