Now, today on the other hand, is nothing but rain, rain, and more rain. As long as it gets it out of it's system!

Well, it's supposed to hold off until later in the day tomorrow, let's hope so. I don't want to move in the rain. The rain and humidity has made painting a big enough PITA this week.

Lucked out yesterday with just a little drizzle at one point. Hoping for the same today.
Cold air is finally hitting over night. Makes for good sleeping.

Yeah, only a little sprinkle on moving day, it really went well. Sharon wasn't liking the colder air because there weren't any registers on the walls so we couldn't turn the heat on until last night! Ah the joys of purchasing a house and making it your own.

I've had the coal stove burning for the last week. I can burn it low enough to not cook us out . It depending how warm the afternoon gets, say 60+ degrees, it will hit about 75 in the house, but with mid 20's and lower 30's every night and highs basically in the 50's during the day, you need some type of heat source. coal is alot cheaper than the electric base boards for me.

Hope you made out well on the move Andy. I figure you should almost be settled in by now. Just in time for the heating bill to be added to that new morgage.
Semi warm today with a cold front pushing thru, giving us a fun filled afternoon of non-stop rain.
Can't wait to see what the winter brings!

I think fall is deffinitely arrived. I have to laugh, because every couple of days the weather stations all say we have a warm up on the way of 70+ degrees and warmer than avg temps are on the way. Before you know it, it's cooler than before and frost in the morning. The reports have been no where even close beyond a day or 2.
I wish I could be paid to be wrong that much.

Friday night around here was great. I was driving through torrential rain on my way to a buddy's house and the guy on the radio was saying how "...it looks like a nice dry night for your football games." I was laughing quite heartily.
