Back at you and to all, a hope that your Christmas holiday be a peaceful, stress free couple days with your thoughts and focus on the gift of the birth of our Lord and His love for each of us and this world.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Took today off, as I found going in for 4-5 hours being pointless and ruining a nice, long, somewhat relaxing weekend. Tomorrow will be nice, but far from an easy and relaxing day.

Amen Wonk.
I'm giving my family and myself an excellent gift this yr. Giving up the Copenhagen.
Over a week strong now, thankyou Jesus. Just remember me in your prayers. I don't have any real withdraws, but the habitual parts are were the mind game is. The only time I find myself craving is when doing things like welding for say, or when not really doing anything......idle hands are the Devil's playground.
Chewing gum, sunflower seeds, and beef jerky curve the want tho. I just kind of made up my mind I wanted to quit and I decided to take it from "I should" to "I quit".

I quit smoking on July 1st of this year. That little voice in the back of my mind had finally made it's way to the front after 2-3 years. The first month was the hardest, but I kept telling myself it's something that I wanted, not something that I needed. I really do feel much better since I've quit, and just commented to Sharon last night how good it feels to not be that person who walks out of a public building and lights up immediately. Just don't ask em to give up my beer, please! ;D

over two weeks and counting..........
I don't see any turning back in the near future. It's different for sure, but a good feeling. I have to laugh at times....you know it's bad when people are so use to you and your habits that they don't even notice you've stopped one.
