Sadly, the time has come for me to step away from the Jeep for a while. It's just going to take more than I can afford to get it where I really want it, right now, so it's time for it to go so I can get some other things accomplished and it stops sucking up money that doesn't make it progress the way I want it to. Most of you know it, and most of it si outlined in my "Member's Jeeps" thread, but here's the basics:
The details and the good:
1995 Jeep Wranlger S, 165,xxx miles
Red w/grey interior and black hardtop w/rear wipe/defrost, full doors
2.5" Rubicon Express spring lift w/1-1/4" shackles
(5) 31x10.50R15 Pro Comp A/Ts with 60-75% tread on (5) matching
AR 767 15x8 black steel D-window wheels
2.5L 4 cyl, rebuilt '85 bottom end, .040 over, rebuilt '89 cyl head, about
5K mi on engine, glasspack w/2.25" Dynomax tailpipe
AX-15 6cyl trans swap w/B&M short shifter, swap documented in tech
article at www.jeeps-offroad.com
NP231 t-case rebuilt at time of trans swap with new bearings, seals, oil
pump and chain, SYE kit installed at same time with J.E. Reel CV rear
shaft
Safari Bikini & Duster (Black Denim) w/Cab Cover
'89 non-c-clip D35 rear
Stock 4.10 gears and open differentials
Grant 3-spoke black leather steering wheel and Rock Knob trans shifter
knob, huge center console/arm rest
Bestop 6" wide CJ-style fender flares
Wilderness Accessories rear bumper w/3500lbs rated reciever
Custom built shorty front bumper w/mini stinger
Now the bad:
Both fender fronts dented
Bent tailgate, still opens/closes fine
Twisted shock mount on rear axle
Front swaybar endlink mounts broken off of front u-bolt plates, have
disconnect endlinks, just nothing to connect them to
Currently needs p/s box, leaking like a sieve out the bottom seal, and new
electric rad fan, have access to both and can install as part of the deal
Asking $4200, obo depending on repairs which need done to be driveable any distance.
