Nice slow rain, all day yesterday and a cool 60 deg. Wow, what a change from 98 deg tuesday. It felt down right chilly.

temps are holding back around 80, which feels downright comfortable compared to the 90+ a week ago.
I just hope the rain starts falling on the drought stricken areas of the country. It doesn't look good for livestock or food supplies. Going to the grocery store will require first robbing a bank if the weather doesn't turn more favorable. That's not even mentioning the threat of fire, which has already consumed alot of acreage.

Yesterday got pretty hot, but today is a little cooler with less humidity.......so they say.
Tomorrow looks like a scorcher and friday and sat may lend way to some showers.
The nasty storms we had rip thru on monday night were hit and miss, but if you got hit by them, they left alot of damage. Hail, lightening, rain, and crazy winds. Alot of people loss power, and have tree clean-ups, and damage. A house or two even burned down.

Wow, sounds like Monday's storms were a lot worse out your way, Neil.
Today is most enjoyable. Not looking forward to tomorrow, though. The Snap-On man came today and it was downright chilly in his truck! ;D

crazy weather yesterday afternoon. Tornado touch down reported in Hazelton, which is only 40 mins from my house. raining cats and dogs with 60-80 mph wind gusts.
Of course it would cross right over my house. It was ugly, but no damage that I know of.

Hasn't been real bad lately. A little humid yesterday, but a shower later and a temp drop down to 70 or so was awesome.
Sat was a scorcher!
Of course the temp is on a daily rise until the weekend when I go wheeling. I'm just glad their not calling for 100+. I might think twice about calling off the trip, or at least renting a room with air cond. ;D

Crazy weather. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought sun morning at Rausch, that I was waking up on Gilligan's Island. It literally felt like standing on the shore of the ocean. That Tropical humidity with a cool dry breeze that comes off the water at you, early in the morning as the sun is rising. I think that was the first time I ever felt that, other than the shore. It was kind of weird. Torrential downpours, hot and muggy, cool night, sort of......more like cool morning. 4 am to 7 am seemed to be the ideal morning temp. Coldfronts that push thru and only last a few hrs before going hot again. I'd like to say I believe the weather man and that it's going to cool down a bit the next couple days, but it usually doesn't

The humidity this weekend was pretty terrible. Mix that with the coal dust before it rained, and your skin was noticably gray by the end of the ride. Cooled down to the low 70s on Sunday evening when the storms rolled in. Just in time to sit in the trucks on the way home.

Yesterday afternoon was a nice change. The humidity dropped and a cool breeze came in. Now if it would stay that way.

Had a good bit of rain this morning. Nice steady shower and not too hard of a rain. Kept things cool until about 3 pm when the sun popped out and made it feel really humid again.
Sun is tucked back under the clouds right now and it feels pretty nice out.

It's been pretty nice temp wise, and the showers are a nice change. It warms up a couple days and we get hit with a cold front, thunderstorms and showers, then cooler again.

The last couple of days have been great, Neil! Sharon and I were out enjoying a car show in it yesterday, and are headed to Reading for the Duryea hillclimb today.
