I Just found out that moog has gone 100% over to China for their manufacturing. Just gonna leave it at that, but some popular parts chain stores have dropped them altogether from their stores.
I say good for them.
If your having a hard time getting moog now, this may be why, but I also heard that their quality is no longer there with a huge increase of returns due to quality control.

Unfortunate, but good to know. I'm not going to risk safety components if quality isn't important to them.

Wow, I must still be getting some old stock, then. I guess there are no good quality chassis components left out there anymore, then. What a shame. I'm not a fan of the Beck/Arnley stuff, and the Falcon stuff is garabage.

Tierod end I got yesterday was still made in the USA, and talking with a supplier or two of mine at work no-one has heard this. From what little digging I've found Moog has been producing parts in China since 1997, but no mention of a full move to Chinese production.

I would have to agree Yjsaabman. Taking from the credability of the info given to me and from whom, he may have been having a senior moment. Although they don't carry them anymore.( that could be a simple bidding war between suppliers )
Over the yrs I have seen plenty locales of manufacture on the boxes. As far as that affecting the product quality, I've never noticed.
