The shooting in Conn. yesterday, leaving 28,29, or so people dead at an ELEMENTRY School. It's a real shame that people like this feel that killing the inocent is a way of either making them feel better by putting as many people as possible into the realms of their own depressions, or that in a case of suicide, that taking as many with them as possible to maybe spare them from his or her own dimensions. No one really knows what goes on in these peoples heads, but I do know for a fact, that as this country continues down the road that it is,this kind of thing is going to become more and more common. People forced into desperate circumstances will eventually take to desperate acts of self liberation or revenge! The problem lies in how they choose to accomplish this. I know there are lots of different senarios to look at, that may drive a person like this, but it always stems from a desperation of some sort. I would just ask that in everyones prayers, to first be thankful for what you have been given, and second, to bless those that have had seemingly everything stolen from them.

I guess what bothers me most is how or why it could ever seem like a good idea to harm innocent children. And no one noticed any hints of anything showing that this individual may be unstable and need some help? Now, I haven't read a whole lot about it, but that's because I really don't want to. It's very sad, and I will leave it at that.
I initially thought this was going to be about the type of shooting that Wonk, and such, do. My comment was going to be that all I shoot is the $hit!

I don't think anyone will disagree that this is a terrible tragedy. We are all deeply saddened by this person's digusting ancts. Suicide is a selfish act on its own, but to harm innocents, especially children, is completely unexcusable. Hopefully one good thing that may come from these new healthcare reforms is an increase in funding for people with mental illnesses in the hopes that people like this can get treatment they need to prevent things like this from happening.

Now we had another nutball running around in Pa shooting people. 4 dead and a couple wounded.
They really have to start taking control of our media, dare I say it......like China. I'm not talking about internet and all that, just our national and international news stations.
Any more the media decides our President, voting outcomes in general, violence outbreaks. Hom many ideas are given to the crazies while their sitting on their couches popping their antidepressants and watching the nightly news.
I always have to laugh when their reporting in detail all the anti terrorism acts that their putting in place, and reporting what got past those protective measures...........LIKE TERRORIST's don't watch TV! These people are blooming idiots.
In Conn, their telling all of the protective measures......even setting up a proxy school, that is within 8 mins. of the school. How long will it really take the next nut case to figure out where the proxy school is, knowing it is only 8 mins. away.
Wake up people... The only people to be notified should be the people involved. The incident should be kept in local circles only as far as the media is involved. I really believe that this would cut down on the chain reaction events that are so common.
Other than people thriving on the miseries of others, would you really miss being told of the tragedies of others over 100m away, just say. Personally I could care alot less if it's going to stop the next idiot a state or two away from trying something along the same lines.
These aren't stupid people doing these things. Just like reporting all the house breakins in a specfic area. " we are told that this is the tenth house in a week that has been broken into and that the Local police......o wait, their are no longer any local police in this area do to budget cuts, because all the law makers needed new cars this yr.........That's why the state police are now patrolling this area and it takes the average responce time of 45min to 1 1/2hrs. Any info contributing to the investigation would be well recieved at (insert phone number)"
Really Jack...s, you just told every wack-o where to do their shoping, and gave them a respectful time frame that they may have. Oh wait.... I almost forgot, they don't watch TV like the Terrorist's. NEVERMIND were ok.
My rant is subdued this morning....feel free to add to the stupidity tho.
