So the details of all of this are to much to try to post here, but I am being released from active duty in a couple of months and will be looking for a job. Right now I won't start drawing a retirement check until October 2015, so what I had planned on doing needs to be put on hold and I need a job that actually pays decently if I won't to keep my Jeeping lifestyle going I am also some what tied to Colorado Springs since Miss Stephanie is tied to Fort Carson for the next couple of years...but I can travel and would love a job in the 4WD industry if there are any.

I truly hate to hear this Brian as I feel pretty sure you wanted to go the whole way. At least you have the rank you were wanting before retirement. I am sure you won't have a problem finding gainful employment and hope you can find a spot in your preferred choice of field. Any chances with the guy you told me about last we met? I have thought about this several times since then and believe you would be more than ideally suited in the position. I don't know what I could do but if there's any way I could help let me know. Best of luck.

Wonk, we are talking, but as you know, if you have a retirement check coming in that pays the bills, you have a lot more flexibility in doing something that may not pay as well, but you want to do...so right now I couldn't really do some "Volunteer" work where just my expenses are paid...Stephanie has a good job, but not good enough. I have some interviews lined up and some job fairs to attend, so I think something will work out.

Best of luck, Brian. Just remember, don't tell them you're only looking for something until your retirement kicks in from Uncle Sam!
