m.autoblog.com/2013/07/26/2014-ram-1500-9200-pound-tow-rating/www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJYBW-gwES8&feature=youtube_gdata_playerHas anyone been watching out for these? Supposedly gets 25mph highway. But thats only 2wd (and it doesnt say if its short cab short bed or long cab short bed etc). And the tow capacity is 9200 pounds. Hp/torque is 250/420. Anyone have any input or opinions on them? Im a little disappointed its not able to tow more han the Hemi, and it tows 1 ton more than the v6 gasser. All this waiting and it seems like it might be an "ok" truck instead of an awesome entry into the 1/2 ton diesel market. I guess i'll be keeping my 2000 after all.

You don't tow your jeep with the dually so what's the difference?

Touche... i have hauled about 50 yards of dirt to level our backyard and used the trailer to get fencing materials and two pallets of pavers. So while I have not been towing the Jeep this summer, I have been getting a lot done at the house.

I have to agree that's a little disappointing. Fuel mileage is decent, but power levels aren't super.

Okay, the test drive I read in Diesel had the gas 3.6L V-6 delivering 25 mpg in 2WD and the 3.0L CRD was rated at 30 mpg in 2WD...the tow rating was also = or higher than the Hemi...in the 2014 Grand Cherokee it is like 7,400 lbs and it is supposed to get 30 mpg with the diesel...both the GC and Ram come with the new 8-speed auto.
