WOW I'll definitely be there. Looks like a very good event. Putting it on my calendar. Anyone that's heading to it should look me up. We'll find something to do.

They still haven't updated the site with prices for tickets. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one.

I posted this on both my club site and the local off road shops site. The shop, Moab Offroad, I think is planning on doing some kind of a hospitality room at the shop. If anybody is planning on attending this, let me know and we'll get together.

The site is finally updated for this Expo with prices listed. 25 a day per adult. Not bad when you consider the size of the show.

This show definitely flopped. I was a bit disappointed. There ended up being less than 1/4 of the stated vendors. There was hardly no big name vendors at all. There was only a hand full of rigs. A lot of the stated events never materialized. The Live runs were cool, but way too short. There just wasn't enough attendance to support it.
I'll post the few pics I took at a later date.
But Wow, what a disappointment! It was not worth the added hrs of travel to my vacation, that's for sure!

Hate to hear that Neil. I haven't talked to anyone locally about the show. I was out of town so I missed it all. The only thing I've seen on it was a little childish sniping between a couple clubs here.

I talked to Dewayne yesterday about the show. He helped out at Moab Offroad's (local 4WD shop) booth. He said quite a few vendors where "trying the waters" and wanted to "check out the shows attendance before committing to a booth". He said he talked to a few vendors who where very impressed with the attendance and would definitely have a booth next year. ? ? ?

Unless the attendance was way up on Sunday from what it was Saturday?.... As far as the vendors trying out the waters and waiting to see attendance, I kind of figured that may have been a possibility. The live runs pulled the people in, but it still didn't seem to me that there was a very big attendance on Sat.
If they make it a annual event, I'm sure it will build. It may take a few years of having it though. What would be really good, is if they added a private sector vending/ swap meet to the show. That always draws people in. If I had to guess, I would say attendance was somewhere between 500 and 800 people, and that may just be closer to 500 really. Sometimes it is really hard to judge. I would be curious to see attendance numbers.
