For those who are wondering what the purpose of the "Exalt/Smite" function is and what Karma points do for you. Here's your answer.
Exalting or smiting results in the gain or loss of a karma point. Karma points are purely arbitrary and mean nothing. It may give you some bragging rights, but it really has no bearing on your status on UJF. You can exalt/smite once an hour. Logging out and logging back in will not enable you to bypass the one-hour rule.
If somebody is having a bad day or gives you some helpful info, exalt them and give them some karma. Smiting is done when someone genuinely annoys you or does something ridiculously offensive to the masses. It's generally considered bad form to smite someone anonymously and it has contributed to the demise of one member already. If you feel that you a justified in smiting someone, have the courtesy and fortitude to tell them why you are doing it.
Creation of an additional account for the purpose of mass self-exaltation or smiteicide is taboo. It's been done, it's obvious to the Admins (IP addresses) , and it results in being banned from UJF.
