I'll be interested to hear how the JeepMedic skidplate install goes. I've only seen them installed on SWB Jeeps and I'm seriously in need of a replacement for my thrashed OEM skid.

Better judgement prevailed and I am deciding against the 35's and 4.56's in favor of 33's and 4.11's. Its gonna be a DD for a long time so 35's might not have been a good choice. Here's a bad pic of my HP30 already geared to 4.11 courtesy of Dave's (Halo's) XJ. Gonna use my knuckles, axles, and brakes. Just need to replace the seals, bj's, and bushings.

That's a nice Unlimited, I haven't seen many built up in my area nor have I seen many period. Yours looks real nice. I'm thinking the same route with 4.11's and 33's, maybe even 32's if they are cheaper but we'll see.

Yeah, his has been at my house a couple of times, and it drawfs my dads LJ. Even with about 3" total on it, it looks a LOT better.

Thanks for the kind words Lou. I haven't seen any other modded Unlimited's around here.

I haven't seen too many, either, and Will's is definitely nicely equipped! Also can tell you that he's absolutely not afraid to use it!
So, Will, when are you gonna reach the level of the one on the cover of the current JP?

OK, I changed my mind again. After the last wheeling trip, I NEED 35's and 4.56's. This is gonna hurt my wallet but I don't care.

I think it was Lynn who asked where my CB was mounted. Here is my CB mount with XM radio recently added on with a small angle bracket. Hardwired the XM power, used the second channel on my Ipod hookup to get the sound to the radio and mounted the antenna on a metal plate I clamped to the rollbar, it works through the soft top. O&A uncensored is sooooo funny. I started working on a cargo rack for over the tonno cover similar to the one Kilby sells for around $400. I fabbed up the mounts for it the other day. Probably make the basket next weekend.

Good stuff. I'm definitely interested in seeing how the rack turns out. Brian's, I believe, is the clamp on style. Definitely considering a similar setup, myself. It's tough packing camping gear for two people under the duster of my YJ!!

Got started on the basket today. Still have to build the rail to make it more of a basket, cut the expanded metal floor, and paint it.
