Ordered some Poison Spyder crusher corners for the LJ. Clearance at 4wd.com for $179. Not 100% sure what I'm gonna do with them though, thought about cutting them down to short corner length, still cheaper than buying short armor. Didn't want to spend the money on them right now but since PSC is no longer making them I figured I better snatch them up while they last at that price. Genright full sides are $430 at 4WD for an LJ so I'm pretty pumped at this deal.

I agree, what did you use to paint them?

2 coats of Rustoleum automobile primer, seemed alot harder than the regular red/brown Rustoleum primer, and 2 coats of Rustoleum semi gloss black. Took my time and painted one coat a day.

They look great and your paint job should be easy to maintain and touch up

Quick release mud flaps. Just have to get some pins to replace the bolts.

Mudflaps work great, kept the sides of the Jeep much cleaner. Reemed an extra set of knuckles that I had laying around for my over the knuckle 1 ton steering. New springs are backordered till the middle of February so the new steering is going to have to wait a while.

I hate reaming knuckles!! You have to be so careful not to over do it!! What about your swaybar endlink mounts, any clearance issues? I had issues with that on the setup I did on a Rubi.

Reaming wasn't too bad, just gotta take your time. Yeah there are gonna be issues with the sway bar mounts and the steering stabilizer mount. Have a plan for the links and probably not gonna run a stabilizer. Still waiting on my new springs, 4" Currie springs, heavy load rears, backordered till the 13th so sometime after that I will get all this together. Got my steering, Clayton track bar bracket and knuckles reamed so I'm just waiting on the springs.

I have been running with out a stabilizer since we moved my steering on top of the knuckle and I have not noticed any differance at all, I think you will be fine.

Spent the weekend in the shop installing my JCR Offroad over the knuckle steering. Seems like good quality stuff, links are DOM and almost 1/4" thick. Certainly not for the fab challenged, it was alot of work. Had to cut off the sway bar link mounts and stabilizer mount. Had to trim the coil perches back to the springs and reinforce them. Bought a Clayton track bar bracket but I couldn't use it because it would interfere with the tie rod when the drivers side compressed, I tried to modify it a bit but that didn't work so I can't even return it so that's 80 bucks down the drain. Doesn't seem to have any bumpsteer as is so I might just leave it for now. If I didn't have a disconnect housing I would just fab a track bar mount above the axle but there isn't much room to work with there. Had to reem the pitman arm on the jeep which royally sucked, it would not come off, thought I was gonna break the puller.

Experienced some crap your pants death wobble because of my beat steering box. No funds at the moment to upgrade the box and adjusting it had no effect so the stabilizer was needed. Like night and day.
