My name is Charlie, I live in Paradise, CA. Paradise is in Northern CA in the foothills right where the Sierra's and the Cascades come together. Lot's of pretty country. Sac. Valley to High Country. Married, been together 14 yrs. (second time around for both of us). We have 4 kids between us. The wife is a teacher, and a helluva fun girl, I run the food operations at the County Juvenile Hall. Great job, love working with kids, although some can be a PITA (just like real people). I guess I enjoy it because I was a hell raiser when I was a kid, too!! All our kids are 20+ up to 24. I inherited the XJ from my dad when he passed away. He used it for fishing and dinkin' around on back roads as well as towing his little trailer. It was bone stock then 'cept for a tow package. When I got it I was driving a mini-van. So, I jacked it up, tires etc. and then got hooked on fixing it so I could go further into the mountains and the snow. Then I found this forum, and a few others, bought a couple manuals, some tools and whaddya know, I got me a hobby. My wife thinks I'm nuts, my family thinks I'm nuts but I just tell them "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand"

My name is Ray L I am married to present wife for 11 years. I've been around jeeps all my life, my father owned a body shop and a jeep dealer was one of his main customers, every time he would pick up or deliver a vehicle at the jeep dealer I went with him and would run into the show room, hop in a CJ and dream of the day when I grew up, got my license and could own and drive a jeep. My father owned jeep pickups from the early 60's a Gladiator J100 through the early 70's. I have owned a few jeeps in my life, a 63, 73, 77 and a 78 all cj5's I have also had a 66 gladiator and a 72 j10 pu. I now own an 88 yj. I did time in the 1st cav in 1973 through 1976. I was an auto body man all my life but now retired from it and do light fabrication out in the shop now.

Hey, I am Roger S and live in the KC area, Johnson County in Kansas. My dd is a '05 TJ, my wife drives her KJ and my daughter drives the WJ that I bought new in '00. The TJ has the normal mods - full skids, rockers, 32's w/3" lift. We have been to Colorado passes, Moab, and a couple of Jamboree's with the TJ. The KC Jeep Club is about 200 strong & growing in this area.

Hi folks .. my name is JP (or Jean-Paul for the francophiles) and I'm an addict .. err, jeeper .. well, same thing, I guess. I live on the Canadian east coast in Halifax, Nova Scotia but I tend to move around quite a bit. I bought my first jeep .. a 1980 CJ5 .. while living in Vancouver. She helped me get up old logging trails and back home for a year until I moved back to Halifax. Now, she is the never ending project. My sis has noted that the more I learn about Jeeps, the more I 'fix' the one I have. Go figure .. you can always upgrade something.

John, 28, live in Cleveland, formally known as "rollovr' Married since Sept. of 06, so it's still pretty new. My Ukrainian wife Natalia is 10 weeks pregnant with our first child (pretty new also!) like jeepin' I've been emersed in a world of Ukrainian, married, and soon paternal culture! My 04' Electric Lime Green Wrangler X, known as "Hulkster" is my primary mode of transportation. Just some Body protection, and 31" MT/R's, and a LONG to-do list. Other than jeeping, I'm an Avid Foosballer, Golfer, and concert goer (it's not a hobby, it's an obsession)
Would write plenty more, but it's above freezing out, so the top has got to go!

Well, here I am. I finally found you's. I had no idea what happened. Not even sure when the other site got shut down or what happened. Is there a thread about this?
I'm carson in southern Illinois. Nothing much has changed on my end, but this summer will bring a new job and new area. My current job is being in charge of the outdoor program for SIU. I plan trips and take people out in the woods on the weekend while finishing up my masters. I drive a '99 WJ as a daily driver. It's got a 2" BB and 245/75/16 (31x9.5) AT's with the vari-lok axles. My trail rigs are a '89 XJ with 35's, locked, and upgraded axles; and a '75 CJ-5 with 33's, T-18A, and a built 360 for my dad.

Wow, soooo good to see everyone. I had Wonk withdrawls. ;D I actually gave up and thought it was a lost cause. Then just the other day some word got out about a new park just southeast of Louisville (hillznhollerz) and I started talking about Wonk and K&I and how he would prolly know more about it but had no way of getting a hold of him because the site got shut down. Well one of my buddies come back and said it was changed to .org now. All this time and I didn't even think of checking .org with the domain name! A google search wouldn't even net anything.
Wonk, I'd like to come down and will think about it, but I'm packed through the 28th of April and then my weekends free up. I'm also strapped for cash and one of my 35's got slashed a few weeks back. So I'm trying to rebound and get some new tires, but I'll see what I can do --- I want to go SOOO bad after not making it in October.

Hey CTORT, glad you found the site again. I guess I will give an introduction too.
My name is Lou Misenhamer (Mize N Hammer) mispronunciations are a pet peeve of mine and I can always tell when a telemarketer is calling. Anyway, I joined the site when I first got into college, around september of 2003. I disappeared for a bit but got back on in 2004 when I got my laptop. As of now, I am 22 years old and my 93 YJ was my first vehicle I've ever had I will never give it up. I've been on a 6 year ongoing build of my jeep b/c of money and school. I am currently enrolled at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. I was born and raised in Athens and I'm proud to be going to the university. My major is Agricultural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Design ( just changed from mechanical systems today) and I got one more year to go, then I'll probably go to grad school at Georgia Tech or something. Let's see, I've been dating the same girl since I was 16 and I love her to death and I hope she will still want me around in the future. Not much else about me really. I have worked at several jobs one of which was at a mechanics shop but most of my knowledge and interest in automobiles have come from my dad. well, I'll stop rambling good to meet everyone.

Hello All
My name is Kyle. I am a young 23 and happily unmarried at least for now. I get to spend all my money on my Jeep ;D.
I am new to the Jeep world. I am also as some of you might have guessed related to the esteemed Wonk. He is my uncle and has been trying to get me behind the wheel of my own jeep for a while. I finally made the jump with a white 01 TJ Sport which is unfortunately all stock right now. I am currently helping to build some new bumpers and they will not under any circumstances be pink.

I go by B.C. most of the time in real life. I'm 21 years old & a cadet at the USAF Academy, on track to pilot training. Here at the Blue Zoo i'm a mechanical engineering major and an instructor pilot in the soaring program. I'm a native of NC and my first car was a 1985 CJ-7. I drove that until this year when I bought a '81 CJ-7 to use as my DD/wheeling Jeep since the '85 needs so much work.

Hi! \name is Estee my job took me all over the country and my company gave me my first jeep - a Grand Cherokee. I promised myself I would never be without one and somehow someone talked me into a Liberty 5 years ago. A total of eight Jeeps so far and currently a 2006 Trail Rated Liberty. (Hitch in the back sports a Redskin cover, as does the spare tire cover!) You'll catch me on the Washington DC beltway "parkinglot" give me a wave.

Hey guys! Some of you may remember me as NtheMountains from the old site. I use this BstofsJp name on most my accounts so I decided to switch to this.
My name is Aaron, I'm 26 and I live in Bozeman, Montana. I am just finishing up my freshman year at Montana State University. I am majoring in studio arts (sculpture) but might change it to photography. I am single now after breaking it off with my girlfriend of 2 years (it's been a rough month). As for work I do architectural drafting, but I don't work too much during the semester.
Okay now the fun part: I bought my Jeep about 2 1/2 years ago. It already had most of the upgrades done to it, but it has kept me very busy, fixing all the stuff that was done wrong. It's an '84 CJ7 - 258, Offenhouser Intake, 4 bbl Holley carb, T5 Tranny, Dana 300 transfer case, 3:07 gears in Dana 30 w/ limited slip in front, open AMC Model 20 in rear, spring over conversion, 33x12.50 BFG Mud Terrains, and lots of rust! I have a pair of Dana 44's sittin in my garage that are going in as soon as I have the time and money. I started working on them last summer, but didn't do anything on them over the winter b/c my shop is not heated (it's gets pretty frickin cold in Montana!!). I have lots of plans for my beast, so stay tuned.
I was fairly active with the old forum for awhile, but kinda faded out over the winter... I hope to be more active now though since I will be wrenchin' again.
Um I think that is it... Oh and I would love to attend a get-together some time, but have no way of towing my Jeep and it's not the most reliable thing on the road. I need a friend with a truck and trailer!!!
