Oh I also wanted to say one more thing. Before I knew about the new domain for this forum, I signed up for another forum... I was disappointed with the caliber of people over there. You guys are so nice and patient and just generally fun, I'm glad to be back.

Hi My name is Tom and i'm from central California I'm a fire Captain for CAL-FIRE and have been doing that for 17+ years. I have had Jeeps all my adult life (cause they wouldn't let me drive when I was a kid!) M-38A1 CJ-5 CJ7 two TJs. Currently a 97 w/ 4" rubicon express lift running 35s slip yoke lockers ........looking to swap axles to D-44s and go to 35s and add long arms and 4.56. I live about 35 min from some of teh best wheeling in the Sierras and about 3hrs from the Rubicon.
Glad to have a friendly fourm back...can't stand the flaming that goes on on some of the fourms.

My name is Lynn, I'm a 52 year old guy who has owned a total of 10 Jeeps over the years. My first one was a '59 wagon, I got when I was 16. My family always had Jeeps... in fact the '71 I have now, my Dad bought slightly used in '73. My uncle was a mechanic with his own shop, specialized in Jeeps and Buicks... so my Dad always had a supply of Jeeps I've been building this '71 since '91 or so. I'm a moderator at EarlyCJ5.com I have 2 sons, ages 32 and 26. One into boating, the other into VW beetles with a nice '73. I also have two stepdaughters, one an animator in NYC and the other a financial planner locally. My wife and I both work for a major defense contractor (for 20+ years) that rebuilds the Bradley Fighting Vehicle for retun to combat in Iraq as well as other military vehicles. My job is a quality system auditor Good to see UJ back online. I like it here... it has at least one important feature in common with EarlyCJ5.com... it's a friendly, flame-free place... unlike those other sites...

Maybe we need a Pirate sections for folks like YJSAABMAN and myself who like to hi-jack threads Welcome aboard to all the new folks who have joined in the past few weeks. This is a great site, still some what on a rebuild, but I am confident that in time we can get back to being the number one Jeep blog on the internet...we tend to have fun, but there is also a lot of good info and there is no such thing as a stupid question...except the one you don't ask

Hi, new the board. Formerly from Bay Area, California. Joined the Army, came to Bragg, been here ever since. Married to my husband for 3 years, we have two daughters. Used to own an '03 softtop TJ. Traded it in when I had my first child, but looking at getting one of those new Four door contraptions.

Wow .... finally found my way to the new site.
My name is Todd and I have a TJ - hence the TJTodd screen name. Some of you might remember me from the old site as tharbold.
Anyway, a little bit about myself ..... Much to my chagrin, I live in the suburbs NW of Philly. (I'd be living somewhere in the middle of nowhere if it were solely up to me.) I have been married to my wonderful wife for more than 10 years (she is my tie to the suburbs), have two daughters who are 7 and 5, and am responsible for feeding two big, dumb black labs. I have an '02 TJ which is both my DD and wheeling rig and my wife chauffers the kids around in an '07 Commander. I have a couple of degrees in engineering from Penn State (I do bleed blue) and now work in the IS department at a large drug company. In addition to Jeepin, I am an avid outdoorsman living primarily for Trout, Turkey and big game seasons.
Catch you all on the discussion boards!
Todd

My name is Billy, I live in Benton, AR. I know Hivolt & CCJ our local 4x4 club is the Arkansas Crawlers. I'm married for 27 years this year, we have two children and one grandchild. I have a 97 TJ which I've been driving for 10 years, the frist 7 were basically rode miles with an occasional trail tossed in. I found the Arkansas Crawlers met them guys in Hot Springs once and havn't stopped going since, needless to say my jeep has grown just a bit since then and now gets very few highway miles put on it. I've met several of you guys at the Hot Springs run and look forward to seeing more of you this fall hopefully.

My name is Blake and I too am an original member of the "first ultimatejeep.com". My wife of 15 years is Robyn. She doesn't care too much for my hobby. Our 2 kids seem to enjoy it though. I still go by the screen name as CCJ. A little bit of trivia to you "youngin's" CCJ stands for Coiled CJ, which was my first screen name. Way back then most of our names started out long but were eventually shortened to initials when you reached the iconic status. Unfortunately at this time I don't even own a Jeep. Yes that right, not a single Jeep at all. Oh I have had my share in the past. My last jeep was a very well built CJ7. It rode on the original Warn XCL (extreme coil link) suspension, 37in SSR's, ARB's, 4:1 Dana 300, nada nada nada... I currently drive a full tube rock buggy. It does have jeep spring eye bushings used in the seat frame. This is why Ault still lets me belong here. I won't go into details of the buggy because the thread is for introducing myself. I will say though if it wasn't for my Jeeping friends I would still be out there working on it. Thanks to you all. Blake

Hi My name is Tim and I am a jeepaholic.
Well anyway now that the intro is out of the way.
I have been in the Jeep scene for about 6 years or so. Started out with a pretty much stock jeep with a worn out straight six. Now I run 33" tires, ford 9 in rear, dana 44 front, flat fenders, full roll cage, t176 trans, clocked dana 300 and a 5.0 that is currently being swapped for a fresh one without the rod knock.(darn lead foot, need to get that looked at)
any way nice to meet you all!!! ;D

Hi everyone, My name is Kevin. I'm a 21 year junior at The Ohio State University, where I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I live in Columbus during the school year but during the summer I live outside of Cleveland Ohio. I have always been a hands on person and loved working with my hands and working on cars ect. I have an older brother that got me into Jeeps. He had a 92 Cherokee which made me get my 96 Cherokee Sport and now my mom has a Grand Cherokee. Like I said I have a 96 stock Cherokee Sport. I have done a lot of different things to my Jeep is the 5 years i have had it. Like putting stainless steel exhaust, coilover shocks, new radiator, 4 offroad lights on, so to be BFGoodrich tires, taillight covers, color indash and sub.
